Tank Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 59 142 807 949) manufactures fuel, chemical and water storage tanks in Australia under three brands: Tank Solutions, GRP Tank Solutions and Mullaly (Mullaly Engineering). In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” means Tank Solutions Pty Ltd across all three brands and their websites. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can access or correct it or make a complaint.
What personal information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business. This may include:
- contact details: your name, company, job title, email address, phone number and postal or site address
- enquiry and project details you send us, such as tank requirements, site location and delivery information
- installer accreditation details: your name, company, contact details and exam answers and results, when you sit an FRP, Glasteel II or Aquator accreditation exam
- newsletter, webinar and brochure download registrations
- records of our dealings with you, including quotes, orders, invoices and correspondence
- website usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and how you arrived at our site
We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health information). Please do not send it to us.
How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you:
- fill in a form on our website (enquiry, quote, brochure download, newsletter, webinar or accreditation exam)
- email, phone or meet us, or deal with us as a customer, supplier or installer
- attend events and trade shows where we exhibit
We may also receive your details from your employer, our distributors and installers, or publicly available sources, where it is reasonable to do so.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. These include Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion and call tracking, HubSpot tracking, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, the Meta (Facebook) pixel and Google reCAPTCHA (to protect our forms from spam). - meet our legal obligations
Direct marketing
We may send you marketing emails about our products and services. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also opt out at any time by contacting us using the details below.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose it to:
- across our Tank Solutions, GRP Tank Solutions and Mullaly brands, where relevant to your enquiry
- distributors, accredited installers, freight and logistics providers involved in supplying your tanks
- service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, email and file storage (Microsoft 365), CRM (HubSpot), email and newsletter providers (Mailchimp, Postmark), workflow tools (Zapier), and analytics and advertising providers (Google, LinkedIn and Meta)
- professional advisers, insurers and government bodies where required or authorised by law
Overseas disclosure
Our website is hosted in Australia. Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they operate. When we use overseas providers, we take reasonable steps to make sure they handle personal information consistently with the APPs.
How we store and protect it
We hold personal information in electronic systems (including cloud services) and in paper records. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. These steps include access controls, security software and secure hosting. We delete or de-identify personal information when we no longer need it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why in writing.
Complaints
If you think we have breached the APPs, please contact us in writing using the details below. We will acknowledge your complaint, look into it and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
