Glasteel® II underground fuel tanks
How Glasteel® II underground fuel tanks are built.
Glasteel® II underground fuel tanks have a welded steel tank for strength and an outer layer of fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) to contain leaks.
The FRP secondary containment also resists corrosion, so the tank does not need cathodic protection.
Sizes range from 2,000L to 200,000L, in a range of configurations, with a full range of internal tank liners for harsh conditions.
The Glasteel® II range suits blended fuels, ethanol and biodiesels.
