Mullaly Tank Solutions – Water

Water & wastewater

Mullaly Tank Solutions builds FRP potable water, stormwater and wastewater tanks, one-piece FRP sewage pump stations and Aquator® oil–water separators for councils, utilities, developers and remote sites. Most go underground, where FRP doesn’t rust, corrode or need a lining.

Which tank or pump station do I need?

Start with what the tank holds. Every tank and station is designed to suit the site, so send us the volume, flow and ground conditions and we’ll size it.

Underground water tanks

An underground tank keeps water storage off the surface of a tight site. Our FRP water and stormwater tanks have integral fibreglass ribs, so they go in below the water table without a lining, coating or ongoing maintenance, and sizes run up to 150,000L for some applications. Because they are light, a large tank ships on one truck bed to remote sites.

Yes. Potable water, stormwater and wastewater tanks are all made for underground installation, up to 150,000L for some applications. Potable and wastewater tanks can also go above ground.
Yes. The integral high-profile fibreglass ribs mean the tanks are not limited by the water table.
No. The laminate is rust and corrosion proof and resists both the stored water and the surrounding soil, with no lining or coating. No ongoing maintenance or inspections are required.
Yes. Mullaly pump stations have been evaluated through WSAA’s national product appraisal scheme, to the WSA 04 Sewage Pumping Station Code. RPEQ-certified designs are available for Queensland projects.
Most stations are set and backfilled within 1–2 days, because the pipework is fitted in the factory. On the Sino Iron Red River village this cut installation from over six weeks to under one.
When stormwater or wastewater picks up fuel or oil, such as at service stations, refuelling areas, substations, heavy vehicle workshops and waste transfer depots. The Aquator® discharges less than 5 mg/L of light liquids, Class 1 under BS EN 858-1, with no power needed.
Yes. FRP tanks are light to ship, and a large-capacity tank fits on one truck bed.
