Pre-fitted pump station and FRP emergency storage for a new stadium

Background

Construction of the stadium began in 2018, with the aim of delivering a new multi-purpose regional stadium in Townsville for the start of the 2020 NRL season.

The challenge

The site was very busy, so the sewage works and pump station had to go in quickly to keep the project on schedule.

The solution

Mullaly supplied a 3 m × 6.2 m deep wet well and valve pit combo, fully fitted out, which sped up the pipe and electrical connections. Mullaly 110kPa FRP emergency storage tanks were also supplied.

The stadium was finished on time for the 2020 NRL season.
